Mueller House
Listen
Walk across Church Sq. Avenue. Walk about 10 feet on the sidewalk and turn right to look across East Main St.
137-139 E. Main St:
Johannes Mueller built the white limestone part for his family in 1792. The attached wooden house on the left, built by John George Kline in 1740, is the oldest standing home in Lititz.. Mueller was the town dyer who dyed cloth for the community in a building in back. He had apprentices living with him. Today Lititz Historical Foundation gives tours. The garden between the two houses is open to the public. 25 events per year are held here.
Continue walking west on East Main Street to the porch over the sidewalk.
